Introducing N.A.N: Narcissistic Abuse Certification
Whether in the workplace or at home, narcissistic abuse is often the underlying factor in an abusive relationship. The Narcissistic Abuse Network (N.A.N) raises awareness of the effects of narcissism by educating and training professionals such as counsellors and therapists on typical narcissistic behaviours. We also offer narcissistic abuse-certified courses and training to corporations and official organizations, including the police, social services, schools, and universities, among others. These courses are designed to better equip these entities to assist individuals in abusive relationships, helping them regain control of their lives.
Most of us will have worked with a narcissist at some point, or we may know someone who fits this description within our family. You may have a partner or a friend who is a narcissist. The problem with this type of person is the careful and methodical approach they use to abuse their victims; it’s often unseen by others. N.A.N provides training that enables participants to recognize the signs and symptoms of narcissistic abuse and offers guidance on how to support victims as they begin and continue the recovery process. This training is delivered through several formats, including certified workshops for Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Coaches.
How do we assist professionals in supporting victims of narcissistic abuse?
The Narcissistic Abuse Network is committed to providing high-quality, actionable, and dependable workshops, educational talks and TEDX-style sessions. The information we provide about narcissists and narcissism enables you to assist those in emotionally abusive relationships. Through our support, we can create change and aid someone’s recovery.
We do this in the following ways:
- Workshops – we have five different, in-depth, interactive, three-hour workshops. Aimed at businesses, organisations and interest groups, these can be run at a location of your choice.
- Educational Talks - Suitable for businesses, support organisations and educational settings, The Narcissistic Abuse Network provides a range of empowering talks, tailored to your environment.
- Public Speaking – from short after-dinner speeches to longer TEDX-style sessions, our punchy, visual talks provide a deeper understanding of narcissism. These talks are designed to help you take the necessary action to protect yourself and victims.
- Knowledge Base & Free Resources – we have checklists and factsheets, as well as a range of resources to help you spot narcissistic behaviours. This information can be used to help those trapped in emotionally abusive personal and working relationships.
Narcissistic abuse: Escaping the Void
Everyone’s experiences with narcissism will differ but there are commonalities. Most people start their journey unaware they are in a narcissistic relationship. Over time, such relationships tend to become emotionally abusive, but the effects are often hidden to others.
It is only when the person trapped within a narcissistic situation becomes self-aware that they are then able to break out of this cycle. Our aim is to help professionals better recognize these behaviours and assist victims in moving on and rebuilding their lives, staying free from narcissistic influence.
