Divorcing a narcissist is painful and protracted. Narcissists cannot negotiate so mediation is usually an expensive waste of time. Both lead to rapidly increasing costs for their partner. Final hearing, the end of the divorce process, is the ONLY time that narcissists have restricted or zero power to influence the final decision. It is ideal to reach this stage as quickly and directly as possible.
